2nd-level necromancy (Sorcerer, Warlock, Wizard)
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: 30 feet
Components: V, S, M (a human-shaped doll made of bone)
Duration: Instantaneous
By using a bone doll like a marionette, you attempt to take control of a creature’s skeleton.
A living creature’s skeleton rattles uncontrollably, causing it to take 3d6 force damage. Additionally, the target must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, you can move the target 5 feet in any direction (as with other forced movement, this does not provoke opportunity attacks).
An undead creature takes no damage. Instead, the target must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, you can momentarily take control of the target, forcing it to either move up to its full movement speed in any direction or make one attack against another creature within range. A mindless undead creature automatically fails this saving throw.
This spell has no effect on creatures without a skeleton.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for each slot above 2nd.
